The Sundowner

The Sundowner

The session ale is an easy drinking beer, lower in alcohol with an initial dry clean mild malty hint with medium, fruity esters from the hops. Its light to moderate hop flavor is not overly aggressive. You’ll get a medium bitterness with a dry mouthfeel thats balanced between the malt and hops. The palate finishes with a dry to slightly malty-sweetness.

The Sundowner. I was in Capetown for work some time ago and some friends took me to a place on the coast in an area called Camps Bay, locted on the western side of table mountain. It’s a spectacular part of the world and in summer with the late sunset it’s the perfect place for a “Sundowner”, which is what the place happened to be called. It was like time slowed almost to a halt as we watched the sun slowly set and enjoyed cool refreshing sundowners. I love a Sundowner and so this one is our best shot at letting you slow down at Parched and watch the sun go down with a quiet refreshing ale.  Event better, you can enjoy a few and still feel great.
